3. Rites of passage, 1997
Ten years after the previous album



Recorded live in Santa Barbara (California) summer 1996. And released in 1997.

John Helliwell (saxophone player of Supertramp) and Andrew Hodgson (Roger's son) are part of the band.

I woud like to point the wonderful sax sound in the begining of "in Jeopardy" instead of the synthetizer you can hear in the studio album.
And also the wonderful song "Time waits for no one", a very Hypnothic song that could remind "Know who you are"


Presionado por su mujer y su hijo, decide grabar un disco en directo. El primer concierto se dio en Santa Cruz (California), el 4 de julio de 1996. El álbum se grabó el 2 de agosto del mismo año. La banda estaba compuesta por R.Hodgson, su hijo Andrew Hodgson, Mikail Graham, Rich Stanmyre y Jeff Daniel. También intervienen Terry Riley, Josh Newman y el saxofonista de Supertramp, John Anthony Helliwell. Una de las canciones es de Andrew Hodgson, y otras dos son de Mikail Graham. El disco está dedicado a la hermana de R.Hodgson, Caroline, muerta por cancer.
Se lanzó un video promocional de Take the long way home.
